The Community & Us

--The Community--

Originally started by a group of friends on Discord in 2015, to share their art work with one another, the site received much attention and grown to a large community made up of artists and art enthusiasts. Initally started of as a private website, which people only knew via being invite to the The Squad's Discord channel, the website floated around the Internet rather solemnly.

Chanced upon by a few random strangers, the strangers had much influence in the digital community and recommended the site to many. Thereafter, people started to flood the website and soon started searching for the origins of the website which lead back to the Discord channel.

Hundreds of viewers started requesting access to the Discord which surprised the Discord channel owner which went by the alias "Legacy". He promptly granted access to the viewers stating that "He was thrilled by the number of viewers". Now, the The Squad has expanded across the Internet and attracted many artist and viewers alike to contribute to the website.

Still holding its origins, the site has not forgotten its roots and traditions to have fun. Not only is it a photo gallery, but it has become a place for acitivty gathering with tie-in with The Squad discord activties such as monthly gaming streams and as well as art contest.

From its humble beginnings as a small art gallery, The Squad wishes to remain true to its aim as a free platform where artists and viewers can enjoy art without cost.

--The Free Platform--

All images from The Squad are royalty free and can be used as long as the artist name is acknowledge. The Squad aims to remain free without annoying advertisements or hiding images behind a paywall. Hence, to keep the platform alive you can help supporting the website via donations.
